An online course should explain more than the number of lessons. You need to know what you will practise, how someone reviews your work and what happens when a technique is unclear. Use this checklist to compare providers on the same basis.
About this website: Beauty & Academy | SK does not currently sell a self-paced online video course. Online services on this site are business advisory and planning tools. For current practical education options, see professional education.
Check how feedback works
Ask whether the course includes individual feedback, group comments or only recorded demonstrations. Find out who answers questions, how many submissions are reviewed and how long you wait for a response. “Support included” is not enough to compare two offers.
Check access and material costs
Record the access period, device requirements, lesson language and whether captions or written notes are provided. Request a materials list before paying. Separate required items from optional items and ask whether a kit is included. Keep a copy of the total quoted cost and the scope it covers.
Check what completion means
Ask for the exact assessment method and document name. Watching all lessons, submitting practice work and passing an assessed task are different milestones. If a provider claims external recognition, request the recognising body and a way to verify that specific programme. Do not make travel or career plans based only on a promotional badge.
Make a simple comparison sheet
| Provider | Practice reviewed | Support period | Total cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Option A | Write the number and type of submissions | Write the stated period | Course plus required materials |
| Option B | Use the same units | Check response expectations too | List any excluded costs |
Leave unknown details blank until the provider confirms them. A blank entry is a question to resolve, not a reason to assume the most favourable answer.
Set one realistic outcome
Choose a small outcome you can document: consistent lines on practice tips, a clear design sequence or a feedback log showing changes between attempts. For a starting exercise plan, read the basic nail art practice guide. Keep business learning separate from hands-on assessment when comparing programmes.
